Agency Colorado Parks and Wildlife Location Walden, Colorado Job Category Temporary/Seasonal Positions Salary $14 - 15/hour Start Date 04/01/2018 Last Date to Apply 03/01/2018 Website http://cpw.state.co....earchBirds.aspx Description We seek three technicians to assist with a project assessing waterfowl production in North Park, Colorado. The work will involve conducting wetland habitat monitoring, duck nest searches and monitoring, pair/brood surveys, as well as banding. Technicians will work 40 hours/week with early mornings and irregular schedules. The job will run from 1-Apr through 15-Sep, 2018. Housing is provided. Qualifications Applicants should possess a B.S. in wildlife science or related field. Preference will be given to applicants proficient in duck identification and with experience in the job duties of these positions. Experience with ATVs, 4WD vehicles, and driving with trailers is desirable. Technicians should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
