Spearhead your career in environmental nonprofit work with Tucson Audubon Society! We are a long-standing organization that is dedicated to educating the public on the importance of protecting birds and wildlife areas in southeast Arizona. We are currently seeking a part-time Habitat at Home ProgramAssistant. The Habitat at Home program supports Arizona residents with transforming their yards into native habitats for birds and other wildlife. This position will be the point person for the program. He or she will primarily be responsible for administrative duties, marketing, and supporting outreach efforts associated with Habitat at Home. This is a part-time 10-15 hr per week, term position for 6 months, with the possibility of becoming long-term. This is a great opportunity for a college student who is interested in pursuing public service work in environmental education, community outreach, and or conservation advocacy. This position could also serve as a supplement to existing full-time or part-time work. An Associates degree or an equivalent of education and relevant work experience is required. General knowledge of southeast Arizona habitats and wildlife (especially birds) is highly desired. Work schedule is flexible with some evenings and weekends required. Relaxed, casual work environment. Great team to work with. Pay begins at $10 per hour. Ideal start date is 11/6/17
