The Connecticut Audubon Society invites applicants for a seasonal position at 30 hours per week beginning March 1 through September 1, 2018 as coordinator for the Osprey Nation Project.
The successful candidate is responsible for digital mapping of all CT Osprey nests, coordinating volunteer monitors, and maintaining Osprey population trends and nesting statistics. Additionally the candidate will be responsible for writing a season-end report. Other duties may be required.
The ideal candidate will have GIS and mapping aptitude, and excellent public relations skills. A familiarity with data management, Excel and creating graphs to show population trends is also required.
This position will report to the Senior Director of Science and Conservation. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
