Agency Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks Location Statewide Job Category Full time Positions Website http://www.mspb.ms.gov Salary 45,583.07 Last Date to Apply 05/22/2017 Description This position will serve as Waterfowl Program Coordinator in the Wildlife Bureau. Experience in waterfowl and wetland systems may be required. The position will work with public and private partners to facilitate and deliver wetland and waterfowl conservation; serve as liaison between the MDWFP and state, federal, and private entities; represent the MDWFP at professional meetings (e.g. Mississippi Flyway Council); provide input on waterfowl hunting regulations; conduct outreach via public presentations, popular articles, website content management, and other media; and provide support to the Wildlife Bureau as necessary. Frequent, in-state day travel and some overnight travel will be required.

Closing date for application is Monday, 05/22/17, 11:59 PM Central Time. Qualifications A Master's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Wildlife/Fisheries Ecology/Biology/Science, Wildlife/Fisheries Conservation/Management, Forestry, Natural Resources, or a related degree;
Four (4) years of work experience directly related to the described duties.
Directly related education above the Master's Degree and directly related experience may be substituted on an equal basis.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
