    JOB OVERVIEW: The employee will work closely with Regional programs, including science coordinators and biologists across appropriate Joint Ventures, Ecological Services, and/or Refuges' Division of Biological Resources; technical and management staff at Headquarters; and/or other Federal, state, tribal, provincial, and private organization and partners engaged in the protection, restoration, and management of raptor populations and their habitats.

    TERM APPOINTMENT: This is a TERM appointment, initially made for not-to-exceed 13 months, which can be extended in one year increments upon management discretion for a total appointment of 4 years.

    OVERVIEW: This position is located in the Region 2, Division of Migratory Birds, Albuquerque, NM. The employee selected for this position will provide biological support on a variety of issues relating to conservation of eagles and other raptor populations.
