Waterbird Society Abstract Submission Guidelines

The deadline for abstract submission is 1 September 2011. All presenters are required to register for the meeting and are strongly encouraged to register before the abstract submission deadline in order to facilitate having their presentation placed in the scientific program.

 

Instructions for Authors

  • All abstracts must be submitted online at https://waterbird.co...t/directory.asp
     
    no mailed or faxed abstracts will be accepted
  • Content of abstract should be balanced including context, methods, results and interpretation; abstracts not including results will be returned to the author
  • Abstracts must be in English using metric units
  • Body of the abstract must not exceed 250 words, excluding title and author information

      • Reddish Egret Conservation (Troy Wilson troy_wilson@fws.gov)
      • Migration and Wintering areas of Arctic- and Temperate-nesting Waterbirds (Chip Weseloh chip.weseloh@ec.gc.ca)

Author Notification

 

 

Authors will receive an email confirming receipt of their abstract submission. Similarly, authors will receive email confirmation when the abstract has been accepted and placed in the scientific program. All abstracts will be posted on the Waterbird Society website (www.waterbirds.org) in advance of the meeting.
