Peter Frederick Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Many of you are aware that there will be a student-professional dinner at the Jacksonville AOU meeting this week. There is a misconception that you had to sign up for this - its actually open and free to all those who registered as students, and if you are a student you should get a ticket for the event in your registration badge. The dinner is not stuffy or fancy - just a chance to talk with established professionals in ornithology over drinks and pizza. This is a great opportunity to talk about your work, get to know scientists with similar interests, or just hear seldom heard tales from the profession. So don't miss it - see you in the Grand Ballroom 2 at 6:00 pm on Thursday. This event is followed by the Quiz Bowl in the same room - usually riotous and lots of fun.
