A pre-meeting tour is August 4-7 (3 nights / 4 days) and takes you to North West Iceland. You will have the chance to visit Flatey and Látrabjarg and see one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls, Dynjandi. For post-meeting tours, we have two options: Tour 1: August 13-16 (3 nights/4 days) Lake Mývatn, the lake and its surrounding wetlands which have an exceptionally rich fauna of waterbirds, especially waterfowl. Tour 2: August 13-15 (2 nights / 3 days) Vestmannaeyjar and the Southern lowland. On this tour, we will visit the beautiful Westman Islands, rich in history and birdlife. During the tour you will visit spectacular sites in Southern Iceland like Gullfoss and Þingvellir (Thingvellir).
