Chris Merkord
The Institute for Bird Populations (IBP) announces the electronic publication of Volume 11 of Bird Populations, a journal of global avian demography and biogeography. As with Volumes 7-10, Volume 11 is available to all on-line. In addition to peer-reviewed papers, Volume 11 continues re-vitalized publication of the Breeding Bird Census and contains electronic links to annual reports from the British Trust for Ornithology’s integrated avian monitoring programs. Bird Populations invites coordinators of standardized avian monitoring programs anywhere in the world to provide links to their reports. Although all papers and reports in Bird Populations can be downloaded as pdf files free of charge, financial support for its publication will be appreciated and can be provided by visiting http://www.birdpop.org. For inquiries regarding publication in Bird Populations, contact the editor, DAVID AINLEY at dainley@penguinscience.com; for inquiries regarding IBP, contact DAVE DESANTE at ddesante@birdpop.org.
