Description:

The Intermountain Bird Observatory is offering a songbird banding workshop in Boise, Idaho from August 18-21, 2016. This workshop will focus on songbird ID, banding, sexing, ageing, and safe handling techniques. We will also learn standardized monitoring techniques, data collection, and an introduction on how to safely extract birds from mist nets. We developed this workshop for folks with little to no songbird banding experience. This workshop would be a great opportunity for students, birders, naturalists, and anyone interested in learning more about songbird identification or banding. Register early - enrollment is limited to 10 people. The workshop fee is $350. How to register: Please fill out the registration form available from http://ibo.boisestat...-we-do/training. Return the form by mail with your check (payable to Boise State University). Registration is limited, so register early. If the class minimum is not met, the workshop may be cancelled. Cancellation Policy - Cancellation policy is 30 days for a full refund, less than 30 days no refund.
