Melanie Colón Posted December 18, 2015 Share Posted December 18, 2015 Highlands Biological StationGrants-in-Aid of ResearchHighlands Biological Station (HBS) is now accepting applications for scholarships for research to beconducted at HBS during the summer 2016.For nearly 50 years the Highlands Biological Foundation, Inc. has provided grants in support ofscientific research at HBS, bringing graduate students and research scientists to Highlands fromacross the country and around the world. Grant recipients are expected to spend time in residenceat HBS, as they and other researchers and students benefit from mutual interaction in the HBSacademic community. Support may be requested for one to twelve weeks. Awards are based onthe period of residence at HBS according to the following schedule: Graduate, $350/week;Postdoctoral, $450/week. Recipients of HBS Grants-in-Aid are provided bench space withoutcharge.Applications (cover sheet & proposal) must be submitted as a single PDF document before 5:00p.m. EST on 1 March 2016.
