Fern Davies Posted December 9, 2015 Share Posted December 9, 2015 The Waterbird Society was saddened to learn that Jeremy Hatch passed away on December 2, 2015, peacefully at home in the UK.Prof. Hatch retired from the University of Massachusetts in 2004, where he had a long and productive career teaching ornithology and animal behavior. He was a renowned authority on seabirds, a long-term member of Waterbirds and a professor who had retired and moved to the UK. He had been suffering for quite some time with cancer and just recently took a turn for the worse. His family asks that we spread the word to those who knew him.
