The Foundation offers small grants andprovides housing and facilities free of charge at the Ives Lake FieldStation near Big Bay, MI.HMWF provides research access to a large (ca 10,000 ha), ecologicallydiverse, private natural area in the Huron Mountains of northern MarquetteCo, MI. HMWF alsosupports taxonomic documentation and is particularly interested in projectsaddressing poorly studied groups (see website, below, forcurrent biodiversity inventory). The Foundation’s website, at www.hmwf.org, provides information about pastand present research projects.
