Join or renew your membership in your ornithological society if you value the services these societies provide to you, including Ornithology Exchange and the Ornithological Council! Today, the Ornithological Council filed the attached comments to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on the policy that the agency is thinking of developing to authorize the incidental take (take incidental to otherwise lawful activities) of bird species protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
