REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE - Cedar Waxwing Behavior

Recommended Posts

I am conducting research on flower-eating behavior of Cedar Waxwings in central Ohio. Given their nomadic tendencies, I am finding it difficult to accumulate enough data to work with. If any fellow birders and ornithologists have information on the subject, I would greatly appreciate any who send it to this email address: eawebb@owu.edu. Observations from anywhere in North America (not just central Ohio) are welcome. If possible, I would like a description of the behavior (as detailed as possible), identification of the flowering plant or tree from which the Cedar Waxwings were eating, the location at which the behavior was observed, the time of year (month and day), and the time of day. Thank you!
